A ps4 can play video games, netflix, hulu, blurays, dvds, twitch, can also function as a computer, can play youtube, chat with friends across the country, amazon prime, watch TV now, watch pretty much every baseball, basketball, and football game going on during their respective seasons. Did I miss anything?

Sure, but it doesn't have backwards comparability, PSN is no longer free, and pretty soon, they won't offer in store credit for any digital games you no longer play in your library. But in the end, both consoles have their upsides and downsides, and in most cases are faily similar save for what games they offer. Don't let the fanboy get to ya. :)
