I don't want to re earn gear I've already earned in the past. I want to log on and get new higher light gear with the option to infuse added to existing year one gear.

Right there with you, man. All I want is a way to infuse my Y1 gear, and that'd be enough for me. Best case scenario, the updated activities drop higher-level versions of their corresponding gear, [i]AND[/i] our existing gear gets included in the Infusion system. I feel like that would give everyone something to enjoy, both veteran players and newcomers.

Same, I haven't played since before TTK, but I'd definitely give it another chance if they brought Y1 back. Not saying I'd put in the same level of commitment I did in Y1, but I'd at least be down to complete the story, and run through King's Fall a few times.

I definitely agree. From what it seems, if that is a taken shader on those guardians, they listened to the complaints about class items not changing with shaders. Here's to hoping!

Man, that'd be nice. I mean, if they're planning to address those kinds of "small" issues, it seems likely they'd also address the big ones. Ugh, I just want to have a reason to keep enjoying the game, you know? XC

Games with awesome customization always hook me. Destiny did in year one but now I've been more into warframe which has some awesome customization.
