YES! AHA! A candidate! So my idea is that Skolas actually had a child and secretly trained him because remember they don't actually have names so it could very well be his child! Plus it'd be easy for him to get a 'mate' since he was the strongest of the pack. He'd get a girl quite quickly, either that or he got reborn.

I think maybe Randal was captured from the House of Kings. In the mission where you need to go there there are some ultra-vandals. And some of them are really strong. To end that mission you have to kill the three Captains, and the rest of the Fallens there disappear. So Randal, thanks to you (the guardian) was able to escape. It took him a long time to go back to the Forgotten Shore because he didn't want to go where the Hive is. And he managed to came back as soon as Oryx came. Final conclusion : [spoiler]Randal is Randal and Skolas is Skolas[/spoiler]
