The better question is, why are people constantly trying to prove to themselves that Destiny is "Dead" in the first place? Games are always "perfect" the first month they're out. Destiny is nearing the 2 year mark, of course there's going to be people going to the division, who doesn't like new stuff?
The whole "My favorite game just SHITS all over your favorite game" is the neckbeard version of "My dad could kick your Dad's ASS!". I personally can't play the division without being bored after one hour, and agree with the funny post you made, because hey, that's my opinion!
TL;DR: Play the game that makes you happy, try new stuff, and don't be a douche on the internet.

Right now that plan looks a little ropey. 2 years into a 10 year plan they should know the direction it's taking. They don't seem to know much according to 'weekly updates' I don't think Destiny is dead btw. You have to admit though; It's lost it's direction?

Bungie's issue is communication. Not the content. They keep people in suspense, instead of just saying "come back in April". Or, this is the full plan for the year. Maybe their hands are tied by Activision. Who knows.
