What do you think the Taken guardians are?
With the picture Bungie released with their weekly update, no one knows for sure what the 'taken' guardians are? What do you think they are??

Could be default shader of updated poe gear, if it was a shader, the class item wouldnt be affected by it, so it must be a set of gear, they said new and updated gear.... Taken poe gear.... Hopefully they do CE and Vog as well cus i liked those alot more then poe, still try and do vog atleast twice a week, best raid ever

I'm thinking armor because the class items (which have yet to be changed by shaders) are taken.

I actually think it's going to be armor. One example of takenified gear is the Kingslayer ghost shell. Could be wrong, but I'll throw that idea into the speculation ring.

1 ReplyI'm surprised nobody(or at least I haven't seen it yet) on here has ever stop to realize "hmm prison of elders armor but with what appears to be a taken shader and the latest big update we had introduced taken enemies, it must mean we return to prison of elders because it's been corrupted by the taken!" I seriously can't be the only one who has thought this though right? Btw don't mean to come off as rude just sharing my thoughts.

6 RepliesLooking at it logically, it won't be a Shader. If you look at the picture the class items are 'taken' as well; how many shaders do you know of that change the colour of class items? None... Its either a full armour set, or related to the strike itself, maybe we enter the Taken dimension in the mission or something? My 2 cents.

So they probably wouldn't show poe gear if the update didn't do something with poe directly. I'm guessing that we will get the rest of the exotics that were going to release. Make old raids and poe current. Or at least make the weapons and gear infusable from those playlists. Obviously a new shader out a couple of them. Probably new emotes to but as well. Maybe even a new playlist type but who knows.
