From the gameplay I've seen and the few hours I've played it with my friend, it seems like just another generic 3rd person shooter with one or two minuscule gimmicks. It just isn't fun :/

Try harder. Or go back to Destiny (that was intended as a burn)

Well it failed. I refuse to "try harder" when I can't stand the game in general. It is bland. At best.

EDIT: I really want to see what the 'Gold' weapons are like, and how the character Perks and Abilities progress affect gameplay. I'm at level 10 now and so far gameplay is getting better. This game has potential.

Yeah man. I had the gold edition preordered but canceled it after the betas. Then rented it from redbox with my free rental and played it for about 10 hours so I can atleast day I tried it. My verdict is 3rd person shooters are horrible. I'll stick to uncharted if I want 3rd person.

Gears of war isn't terrible, some say its the beast 3rd person shooter out there, excluding judgement, but it seems your on the PS so I can see why there's so many crappy third person games

I also have an xb1 and 360. Uncharted and last of us are better 3rd person gane than any that xbox have.

I've played all of them and will play 4 whrn it comes out. I never said go was a bad game. Just that ps has better 3rd person games. Have you not played uncharted or the last of us?

I don't have a PS but I've seen gameplay of them, but I'm pretty sure they don't have replayability like gears does

They Def do. Uncharted has a multiplayer as well. You should go buy a ps4 and play them for yourself.

Same here man. Just wasn't for me. Was too cookie cutter. I couldn't stand the story, I couldn't stand the enemies, I couldn't stand that the bosses were just the enemies with more health, I couldn't stand the PvP, and most of all, I couldn't stand to be stuck in 3rd person. I only like 3rd person games if they are single player, like uncharted (which looks awesome). I just plain old couldn't get into the game.. it's not that I didn't try.
