LOL A destiny fan making fun of the lack of diversity in other games bosses? You havent noticed yet that basically every single boss in destiny is jsut a reskin and an enlarged form of one of the average enemies found in the game?

  • Who said I was a Destiny fan? I certainly didn't. It's stale as hell right now. I just don't criticise Destiny for its problems while simultaneously defending them in another game.   • No, he's saying that destiny could have made the bosses the same race but a total different enemy model. Instead of just making them bigger and adding green glow

    ? have you seen any non boss Cabal with wings on it and a sword arm? or with a cannon on it's back? or maybe one carrying a minigun with a banner on it's back? They look pretty different than "just bigger versions" of normal enemies

I am still confused on this. a Cabal by the definition that Bungie gave. are fat, heavy armored guys (except for the Psion). so what should a Cabal leader look like in your eyes? they all have to, well...look like a Cabal still. Edit: and well, he does fire a bunch of rockets, which colossus don't do. so..new abilities? I guess so?

    Regular colossi actually do fire rockets, just not as often. Edit: I may be wrong about that, but my point still stands. Edit 2: The info is not false, they do fire rockets.

    I think centurions are the only Cabal that fire rockets. 90% sure on it and the point is pretty invalid still. you want the leaders to be a Cabal, without looking like a Cabal? so what should the Cabal leaders look like?

  • My point is that Taaruc is just a big colossus, which he is, just like the Nexus is a big Hydra, the Archon Priest is a big Captain, and Sepiks Prime is a big servitor. Destiny has no variety in bosses.

    again I will ask the question since people here are dodging it like the plague. a Cabal, is a fat, heavily armored person that destroys planets for getting in their way. you are saying no variety, so I am giving you the chance to give some. A Cabal leader still has to be a Cabal, but what should he look like if not a Cabal? you want him to not look like a Cabal when he is a Cabal leader?

  • I'm not saying he should look different dude, I'm saying make him DO SOMETHING. He acts just like the basic enemies, just like the rest of the "bosses" I listed. Make him unique.

    ? like I said he shots rockets, which colossus don't do. has a minigun. has the power to summon enemies. (call reinforcements). so if anything, he is a combo of a colossus and a centurion Archon Priest can teleport shot distances and slam the ground. Prime also teleports, and does that thing when you get too close (like sucking out the air or something?) are you saying that every story mission boss should do something like a raid boss? should I have to grab some relic to crack his armor to damage him?

    lol yes they teleport, but still don't do the other thing I mentioned. So you are fine with the way they look just not the actions they do? so basically you are saying you want every story mission boss to be like a raid boss?

    I think sucking out the air and slaming the ground is pretty unique.... but what are your suggestions? bond brothers are pretty unique I would say. so it's not like All the bosses are like that.

  • The new bosses are great. The old ones suck though. Like Phogoth for example: the big change is they moved the crit spot on an ogre. I wouldn't have any suggestions as I quit the game a couple months ago, but if they would have cared a little more instead of making swiss cheese out of a fantastic idea, this shit would've got GOTY easy.

    so no ideas you just want it better, that's pretty bad advice "I don't know how to do it, just do it better" and well since this is a topic about Division. I would say that all the bosses in Division are Exactly like the normal enemies. it's either a turret guy, flamethrower guy, or sniper guy with the exception of the helicopter in the final mission

  • I mean, make them give debuffs if you screw up, or make them more punishing for getting too close, or something to that effect, people complain about bullet sponges, when all but 2 bosses in Destiny are exactly that.
