This is exactly what i was talking about. No reasons, just people against something that doesn't effect them in any way. Optional matchmaking helps those who need it and leaves those who dont use it alone. It a BASIC idea that is in damn near every game like this. There literally isn't a single viable reason not to have it in.

I have no intention of being carried in any way. Shown how do to do a raid? What like new players? How else do they learn? I've never been carried and i dont plan on starting. As for bungie's reasons? Prove it. You STILL havnt given a reason why it shouldn't have it. And optional matchmaking doesn't effect you in any way. At all. Period. You want to keep the end content to yourself and your super mlg elite crew? Fine but you'll be playing by yourself. The numbers speak for themselves for how many people have done A raid let alone hardmode or ttk. You're a minority here and behind the times. Your "want to be carried" took away any weight to your point. Bungies only reason has been it would be too difficult lowering completion rates. Yet they haven't proven that's true and many here agree completion rate is secondary to exposure rate. Increase the exposure rate and completion rate also goes up instead of being artificially high by limiting participation

Which is exactly why your opinion does matter. You paid money? Your opinion matters. So when there is a problem with what you bought you get to complain and hopefully things change. Perfectly said. The numbers are right on everyone's consul to see. If you at least get people into the raid the law of averages proves some of them will find a way to finish it (myself being one, i would try until i did). As i said earlier there is absolutely positively no reason (other than "because", which is pathetic) that optional matchmaking shouldn't be in this game. Its freaking optional! So the secret clubs can still hang out and it helps those who need it
