I am sort of with you. I do believe trump is more Democratic leaning, but I don't think he cares about being president. He is simply creating a civil war among the Republican party guaranteeing they won't be elected this cycle.
I'm pretty sure he realizes he doesn't have a chance.

I don't know, I personally believe he has a strong chance.

There's a chance, no doubt, but I suspect after we get into the general election most people are going to realize this isn't the right guy. Most people in America don't know much about politics and don't care for these extremes. The best chance I can see Trump having is if Bernie is the dem nominee. Even though he does better in polling than Hillary, I think the turn out will be extremely low due to frustration from the extremes. And as we all know Republicans do well when voter turn out is low.
