I don't think they will because of the third eye. It's the only sniper with it and it would cause issues with the rest of the community. Snipers are already a pain to counter thanks to all the nerfs, so giving them a way to not be snuck up on wouldn't go so well.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the gun in PvE... but PvP ruins everything.

Considering the current attitude of the community towards snipers being OP, would you (as a dev) add a sniper with 3rd eye and completely ignore the community?
