You mentioned best primary for PvE, and your problem is the fact that you even use a pulse or auto for PvE. Stick with scouts or hand cannons. Vendor DO Hung Jury is THE best PvE primary right now. If you want to stick with a pulse then the Smite with firefly is amazing as well.

Not really I prefer an Imago Loop, Firefly, Rifled Barrel, and Partial refund. The Firefly Outlaw build is also very effective.

Disagree, pulses and autos are completely viable and awesome in PVE, while Hung Jury packs a punch it's a relatively slow firing weapon.
