Destiny didnt have enough really solid characters (like the queen) to allow them to kill her off, shes too big a deal

They did, really. Now, if they killed off Cayde-6, the most developed character in this game [b][i][u]THAT[/u][/i][/b] would be a big deal...

Exactly, people care about her. Lets be real here, only a couple characters were there for 2-3 or more scenes

Don't feel like going back and looking for Banshee. The problem is, is there is no character development. The only one with an actual character would be Cayde. People just fixate on her because they think she's hot. If not, they wouldn't care. The real way to fix this would be to have actual story telling in the game, and develop the other characters.
