So you think the story is bad because you haven't beat the game yet .... Good job

Edited by RagingPheonix00: 3/12/2016 2:56:20 AMwell you learn the story, well a little of it through the course of the game. a lot of major cliff hangers, like well shoot you finish the vanilla game. and your left with a super cliff hanger with the stranger. then you get a hive dlc with a little story but not much added to the base plot of the vanilla, then you get the house of wolves addition, still no addition to the base. then with oryx it really sends the story out into left field. your still left out in the open with who the stranger is and the base story. that and with no history in the game to back any of this up. its like some drunk wrote his dream on the back of a cocktail napkin and entered it into M.A.D. magazine.

Edited by Lil_The_Myth: 3/12/2016 2:58:00 AMWhen people say this I can tell they didn't listen to any words spoken in game. The story makes sense ... It's life
-
well if you prefer a choose your own adventure by only getting parts of certain plots, have fun. when a game that is and rpg base like this one. it has no story. just a bunch of random plot holes stringed up with no consistency.
-
Your too slow to see the story I guess ...
-
what ever I think playing the game with 4 separate toons some kinda story would have shone itself. never did. cant be called an rpg if your never given a background in the role your suppose to play other than these guys came for a war we need to kill them.
-
You came back to life so you can save the last city on earth push back the darkness and rebuild the city You are told all this in the first mission
-
you are now a zombie heres a gun. great backstory of why its the last city.
-
The intro explains that ...
-
yeah im glad you can get a story so massive out of a few tiny bits with massive plot holes.
-
There arnt plot holes most people literally just didn't watch the opening cut scene and missed everything they complain about. Literally to stupid to know they where told what happens
-
We where forced to watch it remember?
-
I remember it I went back and re watched it a few times because it has a lot of info most people just left or turned sound off and let it play without paying any attention because at that point they didn't care about story they had a new game
-
Every cinematic is practically carved in my head because of all the heroics
-
what cut scenes, you mean those 10 second cinematic that really have no depth to them. they only had decent ones in the TTK.
-
... No?
-
Sounds like it
-
Well... I guess that I can only recommend actually reading the post then. There's really not much I can say until you do that.
-
Edited by Lil_The_Myth: 3/12/2016 2:21:42 AMI did that most answers arnt in grimore because it's only back story not story ....
-
You clearly didn't read it if that's your answer because that isnt what the thread is about at all...
-
You want Bungie to give better story telling that's what you said no ? You also said Bungie dose it horribly compared to 343 yet you haven't finished destinys story but you have finished halos story ...
-
Edited by burritosenior: 3/12/2016 2:33:03 AMI said no to your first comment. And I never even once mentioned 343 nor any of their games. Nor did I talk about grimoire. Nor did I talk about the conclusion to any game. It's just too painfully obvious you were lying at this point, mate. :/
-
You just lied read your own post before saying you didn't say something or even mention it
-
And you don't see the point that you finished halo and not destiny ...
-
Edited by Lil_The_Myth: 3/12/2016 2:44:14 AMCreators of halo and the Bungie people who stayed on halo are 343 talking about halo is Now their game (so half the people that did that halo story your talking about)
-
On the surface this appears to be because the answers are in grimoire cards on Bungie.net. Never mentioned grimore ?
