-The best custom games
-Amazing multiplayer
-Awesome story
-(personal) I still prefer Halo 3 forge to any other
-Thriving community that wasn't too toxic (it was so easy to meet nice genuine people that I still know and play with to this day)
-The achievements were fun
-The way some armor was obtained was fun
-Hayabusa & The Katana (nuff-said)
-The Recon craze
-Bungie VS World
-Ranking system
-Social Playlist

I can agree with 90% of those. I only disagree with the forge part because Reach easily had the best and easiest forge (although no Sandtrap mine/tower/lift disabling glitches)
