Does your wife/gf hate Destiny as much as mine?
So my wife hates Destiny. With a passion. I pretty much don't get off until I feel I'm in jeopardy of not getting any that night. I tried convincing her that we could get busy WHILE I played... but it didn't go over very well. I can't be the only one.

Yeah, my other half is well past the "hating Destiny" stage. Y1 in Destiny was particularly painful with the odd "exchange of views" regarding Destiny but she had clearly stepped back with the view that too much care about it generates too much stress. On the other hand, I do a lot of the housework and do a lot of the looking after the kids and I play once my other responsibilities are sorted out.

2 RepliesMine puts up with it as long as I balance things out. I don't get to play as much as I would like too. I usually wait until the wife and kids are in bed. I can usually get a couple of late nights in a week until my butt is dragging so bad I have to lay off of destiny.

Dont let any pussy control you ever once they have that control your life is -blam!-ed. Just to make it clear I love and respect my wife and kids and I dont game until kids are in bed and the wife is either working/asleep or working herself.(one of the reasons I do not raid)

She offered me to go to so many places and I'm always busy with destiny and say no. My mom cryed yesterday because I won't spend anytime with her, and now she is neglecting me, and my whole family acts rude around me. My own family is calling me a geek, nerd, no life, loser etc. my dad wanted me to be a athlete. But...I just keep playing video games. My parents tried taking my Xbox from me, but then I do nothing but sleep. The only person in my family who respects me is my bro, and he is a jok so he even picks on me for being a nerd. And school is hell for me. I have nothing to talk about because I only play destiny, and not alot of kids at school play it or like it. I actually had a chance of getting a girlfriend, she actually thought I was "cute". But I told her what I do with my life...and it was already over. And damn...she was pretty too. I really feel ashamed of myself, but I can't quit this game. This game is why I have no friends. And kids at school think I'm shy, but I really just have nothing to talk about, which is why I love these forums. I can talk to people who actually know what I'm talking about, and we all have the same interest. And have conversations about what's basically my life. Destiny.
