Do you think bows will be good?
I want to main a archer but is it worth

Yes they will. Short bow can rapid fire arrows and fire out of rolls. Long now can pull back farther for more damage and shield pierce. Pharos black bow notches 3 arrows and fires them all at once. Great bows can hit more then on enemy in a line. New arrow types as well.

I always used poison arrows in dark souls 2 to supplement my strength build. I wasn't a bow main per se but definitely used poison arrows a lot
