Will your max health still go down after dying requiring a human effigy to restore? Hated 2 for this which led to my quitting of that game which I never do....

Just like in demon souls when you die you lose a good portion of your max health. But after losing that any death after does not make you lose anymore health. In this game instead of humanity to restore your "human" state you use embers. Which are functionally the same as a humanity.

Yeah in 2 your max health kept going down unless u use a human effigy which is why I stopped playing it...
