Destiny's universe is laughable at how little air and spacecraft there are (that is currently known) UNSC solos with air superiority, The Covenant solos off air superiority alone. The Flood would be absolute overkill in this situation.

Cmon dude if 3 guardians did it even if it isn't the whole command then I'm pretty sure 500+ in active Spartans and adding can sweep the job. Along with the UNSCs powerful range of ships, weapons of mass destruction, air vehicles, ground vehicles, marine corps, odsts, etc. to help them out. Along with the UNSCs allies. The UNSC Infinity could cripple a battle fleet of cabal from a long range Mac blast.
