The bathysphere from the Depths reactivates, and the door swings open. A man steps out, dressed in an opened brown leather jacket, jeans, brown leather gloves, and combat boots. A pistol and combat knife hangs from his belt. He smiles widely as he steps forward.
sorry I took so long.
A voice comes through the Bathysphere's speaker. "I'd stay put if I were you."
-
He stops walking. "Okay? Why?"
-
"You just came from the depths. Do you have identification to prove you're not a splicer?"
-
"I live here! I have an ID!"
-
"You'll need to show it. New Courier insists. Come up to the window."
-
"Friggin' Couriers and their rules." He walks over to the window, and pulls out his ID.
-
He presses a button, letting you in, as a man in a business suit walks in from the safe zone. "Why did you leave the safe area? What happened out there?"
-
"I like to explore."
-
He sighs. "Well... Run into any trouble down there?"
-
"No. Did see a Big Daddy though. Didn't try to kill me. His name was Sigma."
-
Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 3/9/2016 3:59:39 PM"Yes, Sigma is one of ours. So you handled yourself then?"
-
"Yeah. I've been looking for a plasmid."
-
had to babysit sister sorry
"Never had one?"
-
"Been looking for one all my time down here in Rapture, never found one."
-
"Must be blind then. They were literally sold like hot cakes just a month ago. Follow me."
-
The man follows.
-
He leads him to an office and rummages through a cabinet inside. "What was your name again?"
-
"Jonathan Strane."
-
"Well, Jonathan, consider yourself plasmid-ized. Not everyone gets to do it in such a safe location."
-
He smiles. "Guess I'm lucky."
-
He waits for you to inject it.
-
He injects himself with the syringe, and grabs his head from the pain.
-
As a first time plasmid user, the pain almost knocks you out. "Listen, you should stay conscious of you can."
-
"Your genetic code is being re-written, and your body is rejecting it. The pain should subside, at least partially, any time now."
-
"Trying... Pain... So much pain."
