No more nerfs - period.
Nerfs are diminishing the fun of the game. If snipers are too OP, start using one.
Frankly I think the weapon diversity is acceptable right now (l get killed by all kinds).
My guess is that this is only an issue in ToO. Game altering decisions should not be made from this game mode.

Hand cannons - except The Last Word - and pulse rifles are almost nonexistent right now. Of scouts and auto rifles, you're far more likely to see 3 guns - Mida, Doctrine and Haakon's - than anything else. Fusion rifles and sidearms are extremely rare, and 99% of rocket launchers used are Truth. Weapon diversity is garbage.

I disagree, unless you're playing against high skill players (like in trials). If you are playing vanilla crucible, you see a bit of everything since it's full of players like me that are just trying to complete a few bounties and maybe win a game or two doing it. I definitely agree with you if you are referring to trials - but decisions for the game (that will impact PvE) should not be based on a small minority of players. Plus, using Mida the way that some of these guys do takes a TON of skill - you should applaud them.

To be honest. Weapon diversity has gotten a lot better ever since the thorn days. All that needs to be done is a small buff to auto rifles ( not the high ROF ones ), a buff to pulse rifles, and a buff to fusion rifles.

Mida has replaced Thorn as the cross-map quick kill, and snipers are as prevalent now as shotguns used to be. TLW is still around. Truth still reigns as the rocket launcher of choice with the raid LMG replacing Jolder's Hammer. The only real difference is that there are 2 good auto rifles in the mix, rather than autos being completely phased out of PvP.

You may be right but don't you think constantly nerfing weapons is the bad way to go.
You may be right but don't you think constantly nerfing weapons is the bad way to go.
Sure, I'd rather they buffed other things. But they haven't shown an inclination to do that. Especially when it involves undoing nerfs from the previous "balance" patch. So my solutions are based on what they're more likely to do, and that's change snipers. Only 1 thing needed, really - descope on headshots.

I personally hate nerfs. It kills the game.
