Which Halo series is better: Bungie's or 343's
Interested in what the Bungie Community thinks of Halo these days.

Halo 1-3, Reach and ODST are excellent, someone, the first 3 being the best. Halo 4 was 343s only good Halo -
I actually like Ensemble for Halo. Halo as an RTS is great imo but the FPS is ok too.

I like to think of it in the way I would've thought if bungie had made these changes. I remember wishing Halo had kill cams, hit markers, sprinting, etc.

7 RepliesHalo 4 had the best character development between the Chief and Cortana. Gotta give Halo 4 props for that. 343 has been great at building the universe Bungie created and exploring the lore. But overall I think 343 still has much to prove and they royally messed up the narrative in Halo 5 by shoving Locke down everyone's throats.

11 RepliesBungie made the amazing Halo 2, 3 and Reach. 343 made the amazing Halo 4 story with a MP i didn't care for. They also made Halo 5 with a story that could be much better and the great Halo 5 MP that i don't really play. Even though Bungie is trash now they still gave us Halo 2-Reach [spoiler]Halo CE is utter trash and i will always think this no matter what you tell me.[/spoiler]

Bungie, because that's where it all started. I did like Halo 4 though. It was pretty, and went in an interesting direction. Don't have an xbone though, so I can speak for how they are doing now.

Sure, the Hunt The Truth thing was really cool, but then you play the game, and you're like "lol why is the writing suddenly so shit?" 343 -blam!-ed up the art style so hard. They told the story in such a shitty way. They ruined Chief's character. They made the universe gay pander-y mess. :(
