Flying a confederate flag is just a harmless way of showing the past. But heaven forbid someone drops an American flag on the floor.

Speaking as someone who has spent my whole life in the south the Confederate flag can be exactly that or some hateful old man sticking it to the black people. I am a fan of the don't like it ignore it but one thing is true. If anyone I know caught some one stomping an American flag they would get their asses kickes
