Would anyone actually help a 304 that's willing to pull his weight? PS4 btw.
I've spent the past hour or so trying to get into a hard mode raid so I can get some better gear, but every group says "Oh go get some better gear you -blam!-ing scrub," then there's the boot.
How am I supposed to get better gear if you won't let me participate in the parts of the raid that are 300 light (Warpriest and Totems)?
And before anyone says, "Oh you're a scrub, go back to playing normal mode," feel free to check all of my characters on Xbox and tell me I don't know how to run the raid.
Edit: thank you to the Destiny community for restoring my faith that there are those that want to help others, you guys are great.
Edit 2: For others in my shoes, I have made a thread in recruitment for 315- participants and for sherpas to help out those that need some help

Edit 3: Ran various checkpoints of the raid, and managed to beat it, alongside getting a 320 Ghost on my very first Hard Totems CP.

I have been through the raid once on normal, and got a sniper rifle. Other than that, everything that got my light up, is from doing trials, iron banner, crimson doubles and sparrow racing. You CAN get higher light without raiding. It just takes longer. I just get so sick of everyone complaining about it being impossible to gain light because noone will carry them through the hardmode raid.

Was invited to raid a few months back with one being light 301 on HM fresh, surprisingly he held his own dying a few times, by the end of the raid he was 311.

If I actually still ran the raid I would be willing to invite you but only one of you. Honestly the hard raid is pretty difficult under 310. I would recommend playing more normal raid, IB, and ToO.

Run normal first, tbh not in a hate way but I wouldn't cave someone t such a low light level at this stage of the game

Im 310 and never done the raid this a secundary acount i made for fun. In my main acount i have done everything btw you can run kf at 300 ligth but if you already know what to do

1 ReplyI could use some help or a group. I'm 302. Now before you start harassing about being 302. I have plenty of raid experience. I can hold my own and pull my own weight. Help from higher light level would be really great though.

You do know that armour from any class can be used for infusion.

I would but I can't. Different platforms. Suggestion: make your own raid in lfg.

Just run normal 1-2 more times and you'll get there, golgorth challenge will drop you 310's, any you'll be closer to 310 and ppl are a little more willing work with that. I mean you may be good but you can't really expect randos to know that.
