Sidearms are my favorite special by far. The best vendor sidearm is probably the conviction II sold by new monarchy because of the high caliber rounds. However this weapon is seriously outplayed by a good roll on either a havoc pigeon or jaberhakke.
I preferred the havoc pigeon for a while but just last weekend I found this god roll jaberhakke sitting in my bank and it's amazing. Unfortunately I haven't been graced with an ironwreath but on paper it's the best. With a good roll I'm sure it would serve you well.
I really hope we get a couple exotic sidearms soon! But with no y2 exotic and no raid sidearm it kind of seems like bungie has abandoned them... Do you think we have a reason to hope for a sidearm comeback?

Love the idea of an exotic sidearm! Personally I'm hoping to see these side arms continued as the next dlcs come through. But I feel that bungie will only do so if the numbers are higher. I've seen more and more people using these weapons in the crucible thus making me feel like that number meets requirements. But all I'm all, we will just have to sit back and see!
