In America it's frowned upon to "desecrate" a piece of cloth, but it's legal in most states to discriminate against gay and trans people for employment.

That's irrelevant. She's living in one the wealthiest, supposedly most free countries in the world; yet, women didn't have the right to vote until the 19th amendment. For a "First World" country, the U.S. really isn't all that great, which is a shame.

In many countries women can't even go outside without a man by their side. They also can't drive. And to top it all off, they are stoned/executed for "expressing their rights"

America allows its people to express their religious beliefs, and that sometimes causes controversy. Many Americans don't discriminate against homosexual people at all. My point still stands: Anomaly has no perspective.

But work places are allowed to not hire gays and trans simply because they are gay or trans.

A private employer should be allowed to hire based on his religious beliefs. You still aren't addressing my original point.
