Yes, their ideas are quite fascist. They seem to be less concerned about the people, however, the eradication of the institute is a noble cause. As Stephen Hawking has warned, artificial intelligence that can think on its' own will surely be the the end of humanity. If Maxson kept Lyons' ideals along with his aggressiveness towards synths, super mutants, and feral ghouls (normal ghouls definitely deserve to live along with everyone else) then he would be a good elder. However, he took too much after his grandfathers. I feel that someone like Proctor Ingram, who is more compassionate and caring towards others, would be a good elder.
