If you are talking about the reboot version the one that doesn't have manual as transmission? GARBAGE I myself am a veteran racing gamer. I spent the most time in this kind of genre and second being shooters (specifically FPS). No manual transmission Cringey asf cutscenes‚Always requires an internet‚Boring racing system and a very simple Point A to B kind of racing. If you are to play NFS games go pick the Rivals‚Most Wanted 2005 Version and Underground 2 if racing games in general Gran Turismo(if you are PSN since its a PS exclusive game)‚ Forza(Same reasons with Gran Turismo but Xbox) or Burnout Paradise

There's gonna be manual transmission, but yeah I don't play NFS anymore. It's very boring.
-
But you still play other NFS games? Not the reboot version?
-
Not any more as I don't really have my ps2 most wanted and all those classic NFS titles. I didn't really enjoy rivals, I preferred Hot Pursuit out of the two.
-
The NFS classics were the best it marked the golden age of racing games. I just wished the younger generation of racing gamers can realize this
-
Yes it's a shame. Hopefully Ghost games will make a NFS as good or close to the older ones

Edited by UrWurstNitmare: 2/28/2016 12:00:29 AMCriterion Games stopped also dude. And EA even stopped making already one of their best games and passed it to one of their shareholders which was a shame
-
Remember the insane customization in NFSU2? It took car customization to another level and whats better? Even other racing games followed the format of nfsu2 customization because damn I created 10‚000 customizations
-
Yeah which is what I just don't get... The new NFS game doesn't have a lot of Customisation... Or cars.
-
And do you enjoy NFS 2K12 Edition? The one that had Bugatti Veyron Super Sport? I don't enjoy that despite playing the first sequel
-
There were even cops remember? The last part of NFS 2005 edition where you had to escape with your car the one razor stole from you. I just miss the cops dude especially Cross
-
When you had to unlock cars by doing a ton of races and do 5 outruns to unlock wide body kits customization. Now its just soo easy you can just buy the car and boom. The best you can recommend to the newer generations is to let them play first the old NFS games so that they can feel the golden age of racing games and what real NFS games where. Not this cringey bs cutscenes
-
Exactly! I actually can't stand the cutscenes 😂
-
The always take a Selfie‚ Most Used Word is Selfie‚ Simple Point A to B racing (no cops and destructive environmental stuff) and the physics don't feel realistic they feel dry in fact.
-
Yeah, well the game is a step up from rivals but my favorite NFS was most wanted so I'd rather have them make a NFS like that. You played Motorstorm?
-
Motorstorm
I don't play motorbike games the only ones I particularly play is Moto GP and Motocross
-
Oh no Motorstorm was a car/bike game, it was awesome, look it up or Motorstorm: Pacific Rift.
-
Yup I looked it up and it was good but nowhere mere the rally games I played on the PSP when I was 10 or the Rally Games made by Sega when I was 6 and got to play it on the arcades
-
Aha Yeah for me I was on Colin Mcrae rally games
-
Where to play that? Is it for free?
-
No its not free, it's on the ps3, brilliant games they were in my opinion, they were made by the team who did Driveclub lol
-
Driveclub
F--- that srsly because admit it we all thought I would kill Gran Turismo(If You are PlayStation)‚ would kill Forza™ Motorsport(If you are Xbox) or would kill Grid(If you are PC) but as it turned out it turned out to be pretty disappointing. Even the developers had to say sorry and PS placed it as one the best embarrassment in racing games history?
-
Yeah I'm a PS guy and I know lol I sold Driveclub. Waiting for Gran Turismo sport, and just that fun little arcade survival racing game called Distance
-
Distance is looking good man. I used to play Speed Racer a lot on PC I sure will love this game but what platforms would it be
-
I know it's definitely on PS4, I guess it will be on xbox One and PC too. OMG that game called Grip looks great aswell
-
A LEVEL EDITOR??? This is insane dude!! If ever played racing games on ShockWave.com like the Burnin Rubber or Redline Rumble then you will have the same experience
