There are a few great HC for PvP. It's just people want the crutch that Thorn and TLW gives them and refuse to use a regular one without a true exotic feature. I've done pretty good with my Imago.

Lol Thorn is a crutch? People rarely burn out anymore, and the only way to double tap people is with final round, and you can only do that to low armor Hunters. Thorn is no longer a crutch, it's just one of the better HCs in the game. If you still can't counter a gun after going against it for upwards of 6 months, than you deserve to be killed by it.

Me either so I can't say it lacks skill to use. It does. My point is that if you do master it, you can get some easy kills.
