"Karma" is "spiritual duties", you cannot "profit" from it.

Well if we're being literal, I'll put all my breakables away, klutzy.

Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म; IPA: [ˈkərmə]; Pali: kamma) means action, work or deed;[1] it also refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect).[2] Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future sufferin. Basically all I was saying was I've done a bunch of good deeds and in turn a good deed was returned.

False. Karma is your spiritual duties in the divine realm; Dharma is your mundane duties in the human society; both are to maintain order in the high and low worlds respectively. You cannot "profit" from them no more than you can "profit" from written or unwritten laws. Your duties are to obey laws and maintain order, ELSE you'll be punished and chaos will ensue. What are you talking about is probably a "balance of judgment", the set of rules that maintains equilibrium in the visible and invisible universes.
