^^^ TL;DR OP's post (or watch absurdly long video); this picture sums it nicely.

 • It is so true. You have the hardcore whiners that repeat old threads, often on a weekly basis. Then the newer players that join each generation a DLC drops or holiday season comes around and they post some complaint they think is new, but has been posted by countless others before they got here. Then even worse you have the damned copycat threads that change up a few details and try to pretend it is a whole new topic...
To be fair, some of those threads have the funniest trolling replies in the comments section. In fact, that's where I stole that image about six months ago from someone else that posted on one of these repetitive threads.
• the problem is there is no new shit to find. You expect people to be happy? We got addicted to crack(destiny) and then the cops(bungie) took all our crack away and left us with low grade crack. Now their loyal crackheads are twitching. Rightfully so!!!! Give back tha crack!!!

 • Yeah, but bungie addicts like that are even dumber than crack addicts. At least the crack addicts know to go to a new dealer if the old one doesn't have any supply. Its a very, very simple solution. Play other damned games, or even get a life and do other stuff. No game (period) is meant to be played day in, and day out constantly. Even MMOs (yes, I know Destiny isn't one, just using this as an extreme reference) that are made to add regular content like WoW have people getting bored because they play too often and too much.

 • I'll agree with you on that. That's why they have focused so much on pvp. Pvp is replayable, I don't expect a games pve to be unlimited nose candy! Lol. It would have been nice if they could have found a better way around that though. Destiny 2? Who's got the blow? Lol

 • Understanding moderation and having proper expectations would help about 99% of the community that play (have played) Destiny. Like I said to the guy above (and you seem to already understand), you have to realize that no game offers unlimited replayability. How is it these people don't understand that their consoles allow you to remove disks, and put new ones in, and even have a hard drive that allow for multiple games at the same time? If you get tired of a game, give it a break and play something else. It really isn't that hard.
Yes, I realize when a game is really good, or at least its game play mechanics are, you want to experience that over and over. That problem isn't actually the game, it's a deeper rooted problem in the person. Their inability to let go of things to move forward in life, and experience fresh things. I guarantee that if they have this much problem with a 'video game' the rest of their life suffers from this same problem and they should probably seek some form of professional help.
• Yeah I'm a casual so really this game has tons of shit for me to do. But every once and a while I want to play, but there isn't much to do. I'm happy overall with destiny and people don't realize exactly what you just said. No game can last forever. I understand wanting new shit so I can play because I love this game. But I would never ask what some people do of bungie. Make a great game, people want more, never ends.

 • You're more than welcome to. It fits way too many of these damned threads on bungie.net.
Plus I stole it from someone else about six months ago, leaving a post very similar to yours, amusingly enough :)
