The vex have an organic core so couldn't they be controlled by... the flood... OH GAWD! TIME TRAVELING FLOOD!!!!!!! TOO OP PLS NERF.

More likely the logic plague as despite having a biological core the Flood require and Nervous system to attach to to take control of the host and start mutation. Not rooting for Vex at all just saying that it would be the logic plague that would take them out.

vex are biomechanical so unless it's a harpy or other completely mechanical vex, the flood could infect them naturally

Nope Flood require a biological nervous system to take control of the Host hence why the Lekgolo/Hunters are immune to the flood neither the individual worms or a colony has a central nervous system.
