The original would've had the traveler seen as an enemy, something to note. Not very fond of that idea.

But it would've made the entire storyline more rich with story.

Oh? How so? I want your opinion. Me, in my opinion, prefer the traveler on my side, as well as the current story as is, because there are some great characters that wouldn't have been fleshed out the way they are now if the story had stayed the same.

Edited by R0meo4125: 2/20/2016 11:33:17 PMIf you think about it, how many times have you seen the stranger, the crow and osiris? even the queen in house of wolves didn't make an appearance. In a reveal trailer for trials of Osiris, there is a little section where a figure is clearly visible and dressed in an odd manner, people believe this is osiris in the lighthouse. This cutscenes was part of the 2 hour super cut compiled of all the destiny cutscenes we could have had in the game. Have you heard of the Charlemagne's vault? Most likely no. This vault was supposed to be located in mars as a final part of a quest to attain the exotic weapon, thorn. Some sources say that the crow was looking for something as well and you bad to find him somewhere inside the Charlemagne's vault. Instead we got a bounty just telling us to go kill someone in phogoth strike. Most of the story missions are simple and bland as well. The story missions we have barely has any story behind it and asks us to "go here, kill this guy, good job." If the original story was kept, Joseph Staten promised at least 3-5 minutes of cutscenes in-between missions. Some bungie employees even testified that most content we are seeing now is only a portion of what the original game would've been. What's one memorable line can you remember from the stranger? Is it "I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain" and who was she talking to when she decided to leave us in the Ishtar academy? All of those are left unanswered because some of those cutscenes are from the super cut which for the most part did not make an appearance in the game. And also what happened to that little cutscenes showcased in the e3 reveal, the "out here this is how we talk" conversation? I'm guessing it got cut as well. Joseph Staten was a great writer, he wrote the story to halo which made it one of the best games ever written. Destiny could've been a legend of a game as well if bungie didn't have a contract with Activision. Now 2 of the most renowned employees, Martin o O'donnel and Joseph Staten decided to leave. Along with other original skilled bungie employees. But hey, the lead writer of mass effect I think it was will come over to bungie studios to repair the broken game. Oh and check this out: http://media.psu.com/media/articles/image/bungie.jpg But what's done is done. Destiny was fun for me when I used to play it and VoG was my favorite memory. i don't play the game as much but what destiny has now can't be changed.
