Are the Claws of Ahamkara worth it?
Simple question. I'm just debating whether or not to get the roll Cyr has this week.

I use them for oryx, especially in the shade phase.

So did you get it? It's the one exotic armor piece I most often use in pvp as well as pve. I like having both double melee and grenade charges.

Top Tier Exotic for sure and compliments all 3 subclasses.

The claws are great. Warlocks have some of the best charged melees in the game. Sunsinger gets an extra shield, range on most are huge (never mind the extra range storm caller can get). The claws have fantastic utility as a general use warlock exotic. In general, strange coins are relatively easy to come by. Pretty much any piece of gear u come across that your interested in, I'd say go for it. You never know when your next chance will be. That and three of coins from xur are always a good purchase. Getting one random exotic from roughly 7-14 strange coin is a good return regardless and they will be higher light than what xur is selling.
