Almost all of your "best weapons" are inaccurate. While yes these are by far the bet you can buy, there are legendarys that can be dropped that are much better and make almost all of them very average. For example the 2 shot gauss rifle

Edited by Cthulhu Fhtagn: 2/25/2016 8:12:49 AMI've got a 2-shot plasma rifle. Modded it into a sniper and use it for enemies where the power of a gauss rifle just isn't necessary. Just use VATS to check if the attack will 1hk, and if it won't, switch to gauss.

Two-shot anything is op.

Just don't make it automatic unless your weapon has mods that increase weapon stabilization under constant fire, or the recoil prevents you hitting anything. Found that out the hard way with a 2-shot Institute Rifle.

True, I had a two-shot combat shotgun drop the other day. With only 1 point in rifleman, it has 140 damage.

Yeah but im talking about named weapons. Of course something like the explosive combat shotgun is better.
