You will need to ask Satan for lottery numbers as greed is the root of all evil. Seriously though, how -blam!-ed up that? Given the hypothetical that money = happiness, that everyones immediate financial 'god mode' is simply locked away by a combination of a few numbers interchanging each week...everyone has a cheat code to their lives.

Lol so true. If they would invest those few dollars here and there instead of naively giving their money to the Government (that is who really profits off of the lottery) the could improve their financial situation for real.

Yeah, I mean we all suffer the temptation of cheap thrills every now and then, RNG being a relatable example here, others could be stuck in the rent trap instead of buying investment property. Some people actually participate in lottery with very little hope, however it's that small glimmer of slow release reassurance that there is at least the faintest possibility of waking up an instant millionaire and can simmer down some anxiety in people, it's a therapy to some at the small cost of a lottery ticket
