Nice, I'm in college and took a lot of paleontology courses. Good luck learning the taxa of marine mollusks and gastropods :P

It really depends on your professor and what he cares about. Its a shame because dinosaurs are the coolest, but they are one of the least useful in biostratigraphy. Mine is into marine organisms, so I get all weird stuff in the bathyal zone lol

Welp. One doesn't need a degree in order to understand pl8 techtonics, know where faults are at, and analyze trends bro.
