Don't listen to other people who say laptops suck. Unless you want to do some HARDCORE gaming then a laptop is fine. Your specs are perfect for casual online gameplay. I have a laptop with about the same specs (your specs are a bit better than mine) and I can run everything just fine.

What happens when game stop running at a desired performance? Do you think its best to replace the entire thing rather than some parts?

That's why I only keep a gaming laptop for a year then sell it after its upgraded
