I rather tend to think this was a ploy to get players on board with the event. They probably didn't have the numbers they were looking for and now are trying to "dangle the carrot" in our faces. I, too, was excited about getting another 320 ghost, but when I realized this may just be a tactic, I decided to put my controller down and not participate.
Perhaps I'm just a cynical bastard though.

I just like to think that the majority of Bungie's fanbase consists of self-entitled, spoiled children who can seem to understand the fact that there's other games out there to play. Nothing that Bungie does will ever make a positive impression on them, so then why stay? I just don't get it. But with this new C.E.O. of their's, perhaps they'll make a comeback. Who knows?

I hope he does make a good impact on Destiny. The game needs it. I want to be able to play and enjoy myself, and it's been quite a while since I have. Here's to better game improvements!

Absolutely; hopefully my hiatus from Destiny will come to an end very soon. The odds are riding on their new C.E.O. Cheers man!
