Normally I'm an emotionless introvert. A perpetual mope. Typically, I see other people as violent, greedy, assholes. I didn't tell anyone how much they mean to me (no friends/ all known relatives are deceased) but I saw this thread and decided I would be nice to people. I held open a door for about 6 people (causing me to miss the bus). Didn't get a smile or a thank you. A girl dropped some lip gloss while doing something in her purse. I returned it to her and she couldn' even be bothered to look up from her phone and say thank you. I said hi to some people. Some greeted me back, some ignored me, and 2 two girls apologized and told me they had a boyfriend. Wtf. Last thing I can think of is I saw a girl looking angry and flustered. I asked if she was okay and she replied "Do I look -blam!-ing okay?" S he then stormed off.
