Oh the Irony
Bungie nerfs special ammo for 2v2 and 3v3 an the funny thing is there are two ways around that.
[b]Icebreaker
Invective
No land beyond
Universal remote[/b]
Now thats abit dirty an unfair I cant spawn with sniper ammo but someone using icebreaker can an they dont need to pick up ammo creates either. See in Inferno anything they disable radar an even if your weapon has the perk 3rdeye or you have knuckle head radar they are disabled as well so you don't have an advantage.
I feel that if you are using no land beyond that the ammo should be taken just like as if it was a special if not it should only have 3-4 in the clip. Ice breaker and invective should have their regeneration perks disabled in these game modes because again thats a cheese easy way to come out blasting before the other side can get special.
I have these weapons and to every one that is going to leave me negative comments calling me Op and scrub, you just prove my point that ammo regeneration should be nerfed in game modes that the special was "fixed".
I left out universal remote so I went back an tacked it in there.

3 RepliesThey regen ammo they don't start with it. It takes about 20 seconds to get 4 invective shots the first round. Basically the same time as an ammo craye

If you need a sniper rifle or a shot gun to get kills you fail. Learn to use your primary efficiently and the change won't matter.

The change was to not spawn with any special ammo. The millisecond you are on the screen that "nerf" has had its effect and anything is fair game. The change was NOT "No special ammo for the first 30 seconds."

Why wait for special to spawn to go fight the other team. Just saying.

Invective regens ammo only 1 second before special is available. I don't find that to be a problem.

Exotic weapons are exotic. Personally I hope they don't touch them.

3 RepliesNah. It's fine. You are only highlighting the advantages of those things, which nullifies your argument. 1. Icebreaker -takes up exotic slot. ENTIRE POINT OF THE GUN IS IT ALWAYS HAS AMMO. It's why it's exotic. Using it is [i]strategic.[/i] Since it's a smart thing to do, it's dirty? 2. Nlb -Come on. It's nlb. Do I really need to list the negatives? If you're getting beat by someone using it, you deserve it. 3. Either shotguns- once again, come on. They're shotguns. If you let them get that close, you were out positioned and outplayed, straight up.

3 RepliesI can see an issue with the regeneration perk for Icebreaker, Invective and sidearm respawn with ammo but what I disagree with is messing with No Land Beyond and Universal Remote. Those are exotics and the person using them has to sacrifice a traditional primary for those two exotics. As for regeneration ammo, if they want to keep it, you should loose all ammo when switching from those guns to another gun but what do I know. I play PvE and that is all I enjoy with this game.

3 RepliesBoth invective and ice breaker don't start with ammo in the 3v3 playlists. Not to mention ice breakers regen was nerfed and it's not year 2 updated. So in trials it's a non factor. NLB and UR are both worse versions of the standard class that they belong to. A high impact legendary shotgun can one shot out farther then UR. it's also not year 2 updated. And while NLB is the iron sights are obstructive for that level of zoom and has a lengthy bullet chamber animation.

1 ReplyWhile we are on this topic, let's nerf TLW, Mida, Red Death, and every other exotic primary too. They are all too op. If ppl aren't sniping or shotgunning from the beginning they'll have those exotic primaries equip, so nerf them but only for 3v3 scenarios tho
