Still have all of my old weapons just waiting for bungie to HoW us again and let us raise light levels after half of the community has deleted them. Wishful thinking probably but I can dream.

I still have the ones that matter. Fatebringer, Vision, Corrective Measure, Found Verdict, Preadyth's, Vex, Word, Fang, Hammer, Abyss, Swordbreaker, Hunger, Necrocasm, Icebreaker and Gjallarhorn.

What I'm saying is a Year One weapon can outshoot literally anything if the person using it knows exactly how it works and know when to use it. Vision of Confluence? Whatever, I'll put it down anytime. Multi-tool? Even more of a joke. Shotguns? Sure, keep charging. Sniper rifles? After the 1st hit I make everyone panics and misses everything because my scout rifle punches so damn hard, yet not too fast. Wheb your weapon is simply an extension of your arm, when you have that connection, that's when it becomes a godly gun, not just because the game makes it look like it. The Last Word should have no range at all but you can get millions of kills at Pulse Rifle ranges. Don't trust the game to tell you what guns are good. Make them good for yourself.

You do realize what you said is stupid right? None of the Year One stuff is better than the rest if the person just uses them because the have good stats. That is what is known as a "crutch baby", a very similar thing to pretty much all of Crucible as of right now
