Icebreaker in Crimson Doubles
So, today I tried out Crimson Doubles, I'm a pretty decent player along with my teammate so we won our first 10 or 11 games. Sounds good, right? Well, we realized we were only really winning because we had special and ourn opponents didn't, why? Because we were using Icebreaker, we then unequipped and did exceedingly worse. I think this is kind of dumb, and I will continue to use Icebreaker, but I hope Bungie bans it, since it's a huge crutch. Same goes for Invective. This is just my opinion, so feel free to state yours as well.
Edit: Universal Remote too. And maybe NLB.

1 ReplyEh. Don't ban it. Just make it so that if you switch weapons, regardless of whether your alive or dead or in a loading screen, you lose all your ammo. That way if people want to use Icebreaker to make ammo, they actually have to use Icebreaker

1 ReplyNLB as a crutch?!? God bless. The amount of players in this community that are decent with the NLB is minimal. When I see a NLB I assume they aren't good with it. Most of the time I'm right. Been using it since year 1 and it's not a crutch. It's the best gun in the game of used to it's potential.

Lol, I actually found I did better against people who camped there spawn. They couldn't snipe me when I'm 5ft away with my doctrine/nirwens/hung jury/fatebringer. Was the best laugh ever.

I takes your exotic slot, and isn't available (for the most part) in endgame. I do think that it is cheap, but nowhere near ban-worthey

1 ReplyI totally disagree. Icebreaker is good yes but no special isnt the problem. The problem is they made crimson doubles level advantage disabled. Huge mistake.

Edited by Benzene21: 2/10/2016 9:00:09 PMThey won't ban IB and Invective. Please. All they are going to do is stop the mag refill of other weapons when you switch. With UR and NLB they will probably make ammo count as special instead of primary, though that one would be tricky, but we'll see.

Well they can't exactly ban the gun based on the way the game is setup, unless you're forced to re pick your loadout when you go into matchmaking for crimson and then you get all the illegal weapons disabled like say when you try to equip a second exotic on armor or weapon slots. Itd be a completely new match making feature and that ain't happening per the current lazy matchmaking that exists. Theyd just have to disable that perk in this game mode on those weapons.

3 RepliesThat's funny.... because we were owning the icebreaker people. Hell, I was using Fatebringer or Vision just for giggles and they still got owned. But that may be because my group rarely uses specials. We prefer primaries.
