There was a bug with the climb that allowed players to dismantle it for fwc rep, and then they could pick it up again and dismantle, you get the point. So to combat this for now, it has been disabled in the kiosk. If you want it again, you will have to get it out if another package.

Why couldn't they just disable the rep gain instead, and allow you to keep the ship? That seems really weird to me.

You actually expect bungie to do something right? They always put a quick fix in and never mind the players. Look at their screw up with black spindle and the consequences the players suffered through.

Not a knock on you. I am lvl 59 or 60 FWC and all I need is the year 2 ship. I have all faction items on Dead Orbit and New Monarchy.

Yea and I feel for people as you cannot get the rep like we used to. Before TTK I was keeping faction items on to gain that rep in the cruciable. I liked it when we had the choice as to what our rep was going to. Now bungie has taken that away from us.

They say you have more ways to get rep. Yea like turning in weapon parts. Who is gonna wate them. Motes of light. Sometimes. I miss the 500 from nightfall and the amount from weekly heroic

I know, and the sources you can get them from are so minuscule it's almost not worth it.
