Bernie is a socialist.
Supported by Unions, some of the largest lobbyists in Congress.
Bernie's national plans don't pan out financially-wise and his numbers are based on estimates rather than the trends that we see with European countries.
Bernie also has no clue as to why business people outsource labour and is instead going to fan the flames with more taxes.
Everything Bernie will do is either going to fall flat on its face like Obama's 8yrs or force fascism and greater government control over both the economy and people.
"The goal of Socialism is Communism"
- Vladimir Lenin
The difference between socialism and democratic socialism is nothing. All it could imply is that the socialism isn't communism but then the terms become redundant or illogical. The only way Bernie will have a chance of working is with fascism and socialism coming together to form Communism.
That's why he supports greater healthcare and increased social benefits. That's why he is turning the proletariat against the bourgeoisie in a bid for "equality". He is wanting the people dependent on the government so he can use its newly increased control to dominate the people through taxes and "free healthcare".
He's an old man whose ideas are supposed to have died away and instead remembered only in history books.
Well... A lot of our European allies are Democratic Socialists, yet they seem to be doing fine.
-
You seem to not know of the failing economy of Europe as a whole while America's economy improves It's really quite an epidemic in the eastern hemisphere

Edited by Urban Shade: 2/8/2016 7:47:43 AMMight just use your statement as a basis for an argument in the future. I read somewhere below you can bring up sources to show numbers. Mind if you can share? (For future debates with liberals I know, I live in Cali X_X)
-
Lol, tell me where to start and I can Like the state of the healthcare systems, effects of multiculturalism, prevalence of antidepressants in "happiest" countries, gun laws not working, etc?
-
Healthcare and welfare system. The person I'm going to argue with has straight up told the government should provide everyones basic needs and stuff along those lines.
-
The legalization and tax revenue of marijuana (something Sanders supports) would make his economic propositions more plausible
-
Yes. Thank you. I don't understand how so many people can be so accepting of a failed economic system that has left many countries in devastation.
-
I try to educate

Feel the Bern
I'm Canadian, so... Yeah
Its because you're a 16yr old who sees Bernie and hears "free free free!" and actually thinks that this will be the case. You have no comprehension of world events in any capacity, no logical basis for economic reasoning except in fantasy and have a confirmation bias so large that you would follow the group off a cliff if the group said it was a good idea. Nothing is ever free. You will continue to pay for healthcare and you will continue to pay for social programs you don't need while supporting criminals.
-
You're really really dumb.
-
Ad hominem Prove my points wrong, kid.
-
No need to, your just recycling media bullshit that's already been debunked by people far more knowledgeable than both of us.
-
[citation needed] You're* Learn how to construct an argument. The media doesn't say what I have just said and I will bring up numbers and show you how. I've obliterated any competition with my stats and numbers before because they're right. I know a hell of a lot more about this than you do, it seems, and you're trying to pull out instead of defending your points. You're wrong, Bernie is atrocious, and your unsupported claims are illogical.
-
While I agree with some of what you say, you can't talk down to people like that and not expect them to do specifically what you told them not to. You have your opinion, others have theirs. Chill.
-
This is the internet, my friend There is no chill There's only porn, stupid and radical opinionated fights Such is life in Moscow

Edited by Wheelz4Realz: 2/8/2016 5:02:00 AMThere is no difference between communism and socialism, other than a means of achieving the same end goal. Communism by force, and socialism by vote. It's purely the difference between murder and suicide.
-
Communism by force
Not true. I've read the communist manifesto. In a truly perfect communistic society (something that's actually impossible), there is no government. In a communist world, every person does "their part" and because of this there is no need for government. Every state that claims communism is actually just socialist run on the ideas of communism.
