If he already owns guns, the more the merrier, but if he doesn't, it's a great hobby. It's really fun to go to the range once a week and just shoot a few hundred rounds for an hour or two. And it can be cheaper then a lot of other hobbies. And hey, it may save your life someday. If you need a few handguns to start looking at you can just ask me.

He has an AR-15 and I have a gun myself, A Sig SP2022. I'm sure he'd love a handgun! He's been talking about a 1911
