It's awesome fun, but you need to know what you're doing. I main Loki with Thanatos as a second: even though they're both assassins, they're drastically different. You need to learn how your God works and play around with them until you learn how to use them. Thanatos and Loki are pretty good gods to learn with.

Coming from a level 10 Loki and I gotta say Loki is not the best God to learn to start off playing. Loki(whom I think is one of the best DPS gods, I gotta say he is NOT a team player, and team work is 80% of the work in Smite so starting off with him I don't think is the best idea.

True, but when you're learning a game like Smite, you wanna learn the mechanics, other gods, etc., and so Loki is ideal. He has awesome getaway tactics, high damage, and decent mobility. They're some of the most important things to have when you're learning, coming from a level 2 Loki.

I would say I warrior or Mage are good, learning gods. Warriors and mages are fairly simple. But everyone is different.
