The thing is though, there are only weapons that need a small buff.
Shotguns are fine and require an amount of skill now.
Scout rifles are fine.
Snipers are fine, maybe just make the Hidden Hand perk only possible on low AA snipers.(not that AA helps a whole lot with snipers, but a 60+ AA sniper doesn't need more.)
Hawkmoon needs it's range back.
Auto rifles need a small damage buff.
Fusion rifles need a slight buff to stability and a slightly smaller cone.
Most Hand cannons are fine. Even the ones with really bad range can get enough with the right perks.
Rocket launchers are fine.
LMGs might need a tad less ammo when picking up crates in PvP.
Swords are fine.
Pulse rifles are fine.

Auto rifles actually need the stupid ass firing pattern nerf removed. That original thing they did with autorifles to limit their range... before they figured out hey we can add a damage falloff mechanic... yeah that shit should be what gets changed. Since there is a damage falloff now, there's no reason for autorifles to go jumping left and right insanely like they have since sometime earlier in y1.

They can't seem to get auto rifles right.

Edited by STARWoLF00: 1/31/2016 2:46:18 AMI can't agree with any additional auto buffs. Only because of the bullet hoses. Any extra damage to low impacts and autos will get nerfed again. Scouts got an unneeded damage buff at the start of Ttk. Hawk moon needs slightly more range. TLW needs MORE damage falloff. Thorn needs to have its visual effect nerfed. Handcannons- other than tlw and thorn need a small accuracy buff. Point blank headshots are not registering half the times. Heavy Machinguns (Quilums archetype) needs pvp ammo reduction.

Bungie could buff the auto rifles that need the buff and leave the rest alone. Thorn is fine. Bungie needs to quit messing with it and change a viable weapon that is OP. Thorn is maybe used 1/200 people. The Last Word is really only good close-mid range. Going head-to-head in it's optimum range TLW will win for obvious reasons. Bungie should just make it when you ADS you do a good bit less damage or remove ADS altogether. Yes, machine guns need less ammo in PvP ONLY.

The reason people still cry about the thorn, and the reason a few people on an opposing team can turn a battle is because you can shoot someon in the foot and completely disorientate them for a decent amount of time. The problem with the last word is that it's hip fire. People can just rush and spam body shots while hopping and sliding around. It's a huge advantage against other weapons that require aiming. That combined with the dps is a tad bit too much.

Edited by SpongyMallard7: 1/31/2016 3:58:51 AMIf they removed full auto and made it more like a Jakob's gun in Borderlands 2, it would be better. That would make it harder to slide and quickly shoot. TLW excels in close combat and it is supposed to. It is not that great at longer ranges and is outclassed by The First Curse or any other longer range hand cannons. I still think Thorn is fine. The only thing that would make any sense would be to make the poison trigger only on critical hits.
