How can you nerf a sniper? Almost every single shot that counts as a headshot is a headshot, sometimes lag can be in the picture and you will get killed around a wall but on their screen they landed the headshot. I used to shotgun and then I switched to sniping, it's taken me about 4 months to get good at sniping so no shotgunner is gonna pick up a sniper and be good with it tbh. You cant complain about snipers really unless all snipers are doing is spraying you down with a low impact high rate of fire sniper. IMO you shouldn't be able to spay a sniper to someone's body and get a kill, you should be able to weaken them if you don't get a headshot but, it's just really annoying when someone sprays their sniper and hits you with the last 2 bullets in the mag out of the thousand they just fired.

There are a ton of ways that snipers could potentially be nerfed, two of which have been on Bungie`s list for a while. First of all, they are planning to add halo style recoil, that way team wipes and multi kills will be much more difficult. When I say halo style recoil, I mean enough recoil to force the sniper to adjust their reticle after every shot. I don't believe they will have snipers nerfed to the point where you go out of your scope when you`re shot at. Second, they will most possibly be nerfing the damage to body shots, preventing a follow through with one more shot with a primary. Personally, snipers will always be my favorite part of this game, I hope they don't change snipers too drastically. One more thing to add, I am a new member to Domination, I've actually played against you if you remember me as Morning5ickness. If you ever need an extra man, i'd be glad to join you in the crucible.

I don't know how long you've been playing but they nerfed sniper after this post to where the closer the shot the less damage it does

Edited by Psyalac: 2/19/2016 10:56:20 PMThat`s true they nerfed the range, but it's only noticeable in PvE. I've never seen the change for PvP play. Also, I think you are the "butt hurt noob" in this regard. Especially since your motto is "Skill is when luck becomes a habit".
