You just need to practice. I sucked at the beginning of trials. I was always a pretty good crucible player. After a while, it clicked, I watched a lot of streamers and asked for advice. Play elimination and try to get better. Trials doesn't really account skill, it accounts wins, and better teams will naturally get to higher wins, just accept and get better. That's what I did and have now gone over 25+ times flawless.
