Oh, people will buy it. Especially kids with no job and parents that are willing to give them money for anything. Heck, even kids with just am allowance will spend money on this. Grownups will spend money on it because they see value in it. Those of us that see zero value in this will gripe and moan about it. But, Bungie will still profit from this and will continue to stretch the thin line between microtransactions and pay to win.

Yes they will. The lazy people with money laying around will buy it to level their factions. This is definetly Activision's doing if this goes through.
